They do. If you’re including doors as part of the same project, their cost can count toward the required $20,000 pre-tax total.
Is the credit always $2,000?
The credit applies toward the largest window in your project and is worth up to $2,000. The final amount will depend on the value of that window.
What if my largest window costs less than $2,000?
Your credit would be equal to the value of that window. For example, if the largest window costs $1,600, the available credit would be $1,600.
